Exams to Attend:

  • DGCA Exams: Conducted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), India. The exams are based on the theoretical knowledge of aviation subjects, including air navigation, meteorology, regulations, and technical subjects.

  • Flying Hours: Students must complete a minimum of 200 flying hours, including solo and dual flight hours, cross-country flying, and night flying.

  • Medical Certification: Class 1 Medical Certificate from a DGCA-approved medical examiner is mandatory.

  • Radio Telephony Restricted (RTR) License Exam: This exam is conducted by the Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing, Ministry of Communications, Government of India.
