Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME)

Overview:
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is a specialized program that deals with the maintenance, repair, and inspection of aircraft. It is not a degree course but a licensed program regulated by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India. AME professionals ensure the safety and airworthiness of an aircraft before it takes off, focusing on the mechanical and avionics systems of the aircraft. Graduates from this course can work with airlines, maintenance repair organizations (MROs), and aviation regulatory authorities.
